Project Overview
DualTech Conseil carried out the inspection of an auxiliary gearbox (GT) — S/N 17877, Type DF51BB — for the ADNOC GAS LNG Preconditioning Plant (LPP) project. The gearbox is a critical component in the gas turbine auxiliary drive system.
Scope of Inspection
- Visual and dimensional inspection of the gearbox housing
- Tooth contact pattern verification on gear pairs
- Backlash measurement on all gear meshes
- Non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds and critical sections
- Dimensional verification of shaft alignment
- Documentation review (material certificates, ITP)

Deliverables
Inspection report with dimensional data sheets, tooth contact pattern photos, NDT results, and final release recommendation.
