Project Overview
DualTech Conseil carried out inspection and FAT witnessing for the LNG loading arms intended for the Ruwais LNG project in the UAE. The scope covered mechanical, hydraulic, and control system verification, including swivel joint assemblies, control cabinets, SCADA interface, and the lifting spreader bar.
Scope of Inspection
- Visual and dimensional inspection of swivel joint assemblies
- Verification of control cabinets — wiring, PLC, communication interfaces
- SCADA control test witnessing
- Lifting spreader bar load verification
- Functional tests of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Documentation review (ITP, test records, material certificates)
Approach
Our inspector worked at the vendor’s manufacturing facility alongside their engineering team. Each functional test was documented with photographic evidence, measurement records, and test logs.
Deliverables
FAT report with test records, photographic documentation, dimensional verification sheets, and final release recommendation.
